Its APRIL! Its SPRING!

So far this month we've had Easter

And my sweet grand-daughters 2nd birthday to celebrate.

I've started "trying" to get a vege, herb, flower garden laid out. I did start some seedlings, some have done better than others, we'll see how well they do once I get them in the ground.

I've been sewing some summer type outfits for my grand-daughter. I'll need to take pics of them. She is sooo cute!!

We're expecting our 8th grandbaby in October!! Our one and only son will soon experience fatherhood...he will be one awesome dad!! I can't wait to see him light up when he sees his baby. BTW - He also bought his first home this past week!

My dear hubby will soon be going back to work....its been a while since he got laid off. So many in our area, not to mention our country felt the economic blow these couple of years. God had sustained us through it all though and for that I am soooo glad we serve an Awesome God!!

The girls hair salon.... "that HAIR shop" .... is going well. They had some T-shirts designed and now are selling them at the hair shop.

All in all God has been very good to us!

What a March we've had...so far its been super cold, rained, snowed all on the same day! I am sooo ready for my kind of spring weather.

I need to get out and work on the yard. Need to get it ready for gardening....something I want to really try out this year. Also because we are planning my sweet little grand-daughters birthday party out in the yard...soooo.... lots need to get done ASAP!

My dear husband spent all day cutting down some unwanted trees around our fence while I watched the babies. I am truly blessed to have him!

BTW- I am needing to really think about taking my camera out with me to take before and after pictures.

Its MARCH!

Goodness everyone that I know is soooo ready for spring. We've had what seems like a long winter... not that I'm saying its over but in a way hoping it is...and plenty of snow.

For some reason I didn't take one picture of this years snow and mind you I had plenty of opportunities!

I'm trying to plan out my garden and have been "patiently" wating to be able to get outside and work in the yard. I'll try to take before and after pictures.

Although these pictures aren't from this year or last....its something to look forward to.

So that our winter months won't get jealous heres pictures of past snow days....

Its soooo cold! We've had more snow, schools have closed down and the weather man says to expect the snow to stay around for the weekend.

The girls are home... it was decided not to open the hair salon today since the roads are bad.

The babies are playing, girls are watching tv, hubby is laying down watching his tv. Life is good!
Its time that I start cleaning these closets.

I hope to use this blog as a daily (maybe not quite so daily) goings on.

Its been busy here with the 2 babies (toddlers), opening up a hair salon, running a home and just plain everyday happenings.

I'm still making candles ... very fragrant ones I may add.... and now that its time to start planning out gardens and such well, I'm doing that also. Can't wait for it to get warm... this is the first real cold winter we've had in a long time! Certainly am hoping that those pesky Elm leave beetles have seen the last of their days! If anyone had to deal with them this past summer and fall AND know on how to get rid of them ... well... please pass the info. this way. :O)
